Relief's annual Crab Fest Fundraiser will be a part of the MC Hammer Reality Show on the A&E Network. The show will air on June 14, 2009. This will provide us with national press coverage.

2008
In November, Relief, Inc.'s partnership with Feed The Children allowed us to donate 5,418 lbs of medium yams in our local communities from Modesto to San Francisco.

We restructured Relief’s Administrative functions to allow us to be more efficient. This included the branding of Relief, Inc. We've also revamped all of our Marketing Material.  We are also in the process of redesigning our website utilizing state-of-the-art technology. This will accomplish an online community where everyone can come together in assisting the people of war-torn Liberia, as well as our local communities.

Relief, Inc., sponsored three women into the Maryann Cheeseman School of Home Arts, Ministry of Education (Tailoring) during the 2008-2009 school year. The Fitzpatrick Dealership Group partnership continued to educate the women of war-torn Liberia as well. A new sponsor, WOW/M.J.F. Campaign, also sponsored two of the three women.

In addition to our international relief effort, we provide training and leadership to local high school and college student volunteers. We get them involved in our charitable organization in ways that exposes them to things that they ordinarily would not experience until they are in the job market.

In February, Relief, Inc. became a member of GuideStar.

2007
Relief, Inc. partnered with Purple Dragon to create her first signature Pen from the Palm Sheaf. These pens will be for our Special Partners/Sponsors and Donors.

Our partnership with the Fitzpatrick Dealership Group allowed us to open our WOW bank account. This allowed us to purchase and own our first generator. We were also able to enroll three WOW women into the YMCA computer school in Monrovia, Liberia. Click here to see a photo of the check presentation.
